The new sports hall donated by Wanny Di Filippo to the city of Florence is a multifunctional sports facility that will soon become the performance centre of “Il Bisonte Volley Firenze”. The team plays in the A1 women’s league.
The roof construction of the sports hall was made entirely of metal binders, which were assembled and painted on site. A fire resistance of 60 minutes was required according to the project. For passive fire protection of the construction, the intumescent coating Amotherm Steel WB HI was used.
