AMOTHERM TOP SB
Single-component solvent-based protective and decorative top coat for intumescent systems
Single-component vinyl top coat, suitable for the protection and/or decoration of reactive solvent-based systems applied indoors or in semi-exposed outdoor environments.
Technical features
- Provides the applied film with resistance to condensation, moisture, and water
- Can be used to create colorful effects indoors but is primarily designed for protection in semi-exposed outdoor applications.

Applications
Top coat layer for intumescent coating systems used in fire protection of structures; specifically designed for AMOTHERM STEEL / AMOTHERM BRICK / AMOTHERM CONCRETE coating systems. Suitable for indoor or semi-exposed applications (e.g., under a canopy), it provides the applied coating with good moisture resistance. Also used for the final colouring needs of the intumescent system applied.

- touch dry 2 hours
- through-dry 24 – 48 hours

- Interior environment: 0.15 kg/m²
- Exterior – semiexposed environment: 0.20 kg/m²

Recommended treatments
Interior:
- 1 x Amotherm Steel Primer Epoxy SB on galvanised structures / 1 x Amotherm Steel Primer SB on black/sandblasted steel
- Amotherm XXXX SB applied in multiple coats until the required amount is reached.
- 1 x Amotherm Top SB (optional for coloured finishes)
Exterior (semi-exposed):
- 1 x Amotherm Steel Primer Epoxy SB on galvanised structures / 1 x Amotherm Steel Primer SB on black/sandblasted steel
- Amotherm XXXX SB applied in multiple coats until the required amount is reached.
- 1 x Amotherm Top SB
