WATER-BASED SINGLE-COMPONENT INTUMESCENT COATING FOR FIRE PROTECTION OF STRUCTURAL STEEL ELEMENTS
White, water-based intumescent coating for fire protection of steel elements and structures, classified according to the European standard EN 13501-2 and qualified according to the test standard EN 13381-8. Certified with European Technical Assessment ETA 25/0255. CE marked product, in accordance with the procedures outlined in the reference guideline EAD 350402-00-1106.

Technical features
- Forms a continuous, adherent protective layer on the substrate
- Does not affect the aesthetic appearance of the treated elements
- Does not affect the geometry of the structural element to which it is applied
- Can be overcoated with a colored finish
Applications
Specialized fire protection system for structural steel elements in buildings intended for civil and industrial use. Suitable for interior use. Ideal for environments requiring solvent-free, low-emission products.
Drying time
- AMOTHERM STEEL 600 WB: Minimum 5 hours between coats at 700 µm dry film thickness.
Consumption
Defined according to the structural element to be protected and the required technical performance. Required dry film thicknesses based on section factor and critical steel temperature (excluding primer and topcoat) are listed in the assessment report.
