New product line TOP QUALITY

Innovation with technology and passion

14.05.2018 - FROM AN UNMISTAKABLE HISTORICAL IMAGE TO A MODERN AND EVEN MORE FUNCTIONAL DESIGN!

From an unmistakable historical image to a modern design and even more functional!

We had been thinking about how we could modernize the packaging of our Top Quality line for quite a while, which had by then become characteristic for our products was not only immediately identifiable but also much appreciated by our customers. The risk of getting carried away by creativity and consequentially losing all elements of recognition of our packaging, was strong.
But it was these difficulties that made us ready to transform what could be a problem into an opportunity for improvement. The result of our studies led us to create a astatically valid and more functional lay out.

To improve product information, some new packaging symbols have been introduced:
  • color bands identifying product type (waterbased, solventbased, etc.)
  • main certifications / plus points of the product
  • application methods and dimensional stability
  • new label with highly visible color dot

New tins

In order to meet increasing demands of flexibility imposed by the market, we have equipped ourselves with a automatic labeling system of the latest generation, perfectly integrated in our continued production line.
We have optimized the labeling operation for the 2.5 and 5 liter cans that - we have substituted the originally conical tins with cylindrical ones of the same measures both in height and in circumference, maintain the exact size of our cardboard packaging by cartons. In addition, the cylindrical cans are perfectly stackable.
We will move to the packaging in labeled tins mostly for products with lower rotation or with a need of more frequent labeling updates - due to regulatory compliances- while continuing to supply the remaining products in lithographed tins.
Obviously we could not neglect the aesthetic aspect, which remains high as ever; guaranteed by the choice of paper and the addition of a special lamination. The labeled can therefore results practically identical if not better than the lithographed version.
